How to Trade the Yen Post-Intervention

Japan intervened on Thursday to stem the yen’s rise after days of threatening to do so. The concerted Yen selling pushed the currency down to almost 79 against the dollar from 77, but analysts said the action by the authorities wouldn't work over the medium-term given the weak outlook for the U.S dollar, and recommended betting against intervention.
